Sup,

I like to work on unique content and tend not to make threads on things that have already been done because it's not as interesting.
The base that i build my content on has had a lot of background work, but when i take a look at even the most basic of things it's clear to see that i was quite off the mark.

I spent some time today looking at PID & Combat and decided to get up to date.

This is less entertaining than my usual threads, but i figured i would post this as i have hijacked show-off as my dev blogs anyway.

Questions about damage stalls.

Features:

  • The use of PID when handling tasks
  • PID shuffles every 160 ingame ticks

Interesting bugs i found along the way:

When PID is shuffled but there is only 2 players online, i was able to pickup Hunter traps / Castlewars barricades after inherting a playerid that had dropped them
