Simplicity RSPS Review 2023 [ Top Rated📈 ]

Simplicity Review

Simplicity is a feature-rich pre-EoC Runescape private server filled with a variety of semi-custom content and other notable Oldschool Runescape content. This server is staffed by a team of 28 individuals and played by as many as 250 players at a time (on average). This RSPS possesses a very entertaining mix of both familiar and unique content found through exploring skills such as Dungeoneering and Summoning, or by taking on a multitude of exciting bosses and minigames. Prepare to learn what Simplicity RSPS is at its core and find out why we find this a very cool combination of two worlds.

Notable Features

The amount of entertaining content this server has to offer is enticing to play for hours at a time. Duo Slayer, Party Dungeoneering, Full Raids, Vorkath & Hydra are just a few of many pieces of content found in Simplicity. There’s a good handful of custom items found throughout the server too, such as Ring of Bosses, Scythe of Vitur X and Dark Twisted Bow – amongst many others. The mix of content in this server is, well, Simply amazing. Let’s find out, shall we?

Player vs Monster (PvM)

PvM is a big hit on Simplicity. This server offers existing bosses from Oldschool Runescape alongside pre-eoc, as well as unique custom bosses to battle. For example, Phoenix and Nex are two bosses from the later stages of Runescape whilst the Nightmare and Hydra are found on OSRS. Simplicity also offers the opportunity to try out new combat mechanics by fighting the Bandos Avatar, Slash Bash or Tarn. All bosses have unique levels of difficulty and offer excellent rewards.

mixpvm.png
↑ Image 1: The mix of Pre-EOC and OSRS bosses that Simplicity has to offer.

PROS CONS
High Variety (OSRS/Custom/Pre-Eoc) None
Good Combat Balancing
Good Reward Balancing

Skilling

Skilling is somewhat of an uncertainty. There are a lot of skills, including Dungeoneering and Summoning which are a popular hit amongst the players. However, most skills are pretty basic when it comes to training. For example, there are only four agility courses; Thieving can only be trained at stalls that are located at home; and Hunter is mainly trained at Puro-Puro. While this isn’t a problem for most players, it can get a bit repetitive when going for 99 in a skill.

↑ Image 2: One of the many unique AFK training methods that Simplicity has to offer.

PROS CONS
Dungeoneering Basic Training Methods
Summoning
Unique AFK Training

Player vs Player (PvP or Pking)

Sadly, PvP action is nowhere to be found in Simplicity. First of all, Simplicity is primarily an economy-based server meaning that you won’t be able to spawn items or set your levels. This isn’t a bad trait to possess, but it doesn’t exactly attract pkers. Secondly, players rarely tend to visit the Wilderness unless there is a hotspot. Even then, there are only a couple of people in the entire Wilderness. Finally, considering the combat feels a bit clunky (E.g. Autocasting) it is hard to get some nice tribridding action. On the other hand, there are occasionally PvP-oriented events hosted which are nice to see.

wildy.png
↑ Image 3: Wilderness has a variety of PvM bosses, but there are no players to PvP with.

PROS CONS
Bosses in Wilderness PvP Combat is Clunky
Very Low PvP Activity

Minigames

There are a lot of minigames on this server, including both custom minigames and the ones from oldschool runescape. The problem is that there isn’t really a lot of activity in minigames such as pest control unless there is an event that is going on. Therefore, it can take some time for you to get rewards from the minigames you want if they require larger amounts of players. However, the minigames that are currently on the server are focused on PvM/Skilling, and a lot of players seem to enjoy participating in them.

image.png
↑ Image 4: A mix of 15 different OSRS, Pre-Eoc and custom minigames

PROS CONS
Big Variety (PvM/Skilling) Group Minigames are Empty
Custom Minigames Few PvP Minigames

Player activity

Simplicity is considered to be a large-sized server as it sees between roughly 60 to 250 active players online at a time, depending on the time and day. There are enough players for chatting and having fun while skilling and PvMing; however, at times there seems to be a good handful of players that are AFK training. While AFK training is a nice feature, it can be demotivating to play at times when a lot of players are AFK training or standing still. However, it is still impressive to maintain large numbers of players for long periods of time – which Simplicity has most certainly managed to accomplish.

image.png
↑ Image 5: Simplicity is an active server with a decent amount of players.

PROS CONS
Decent Amount of players Many are AFK

Other content

When it comes to miscellaneous content, there’s a lot on the table. Upon logging in, there are a couple of different game modes to choose from, depending on how much of a grinder one is. Additionally, there’s a very nice achievement system with 106 achievements and four different tiers. Moreover, there are also a lot of systems in place to aid with gaming. Some examples being kill log, drop log, drop tables, collection log, etc.

PROS CONS
Different Tools to Ease Gaming None
Activities Outside of the Main Grind

Conclusion    (3.8 on average)

Simplicity is the perfect server for those who seek casual gameplay and a good variety of content to choose from. There’s a ton of cool activities never seen before on any other server. Plus, it is the kind of server that can easily be played for weeks on end. If original Runescape mechanics and looks are more your style, then this server may not be your ideal match. Afterall, it is more of a custom 317 server than an emulation. So it really depends on what you prefer. Grinds and replications, or entertainment and unique content? We can offer insight only so far, so in the end you will have to decide for yourself if Simplicity is the right server for you!

🔰Alora RSPS Server Review 2023

🔰Alora Review🔰

Alora was released in November 2016 by Omicron and is now in its fifth year as a RSPS. During the years of its existence Alora has steadily climbed the ranks of Runescape Private Servers and is now known to be amongst one of the largest and most stable available on the market. With lots of content to offer and many active players; Alora seeks to entertain those who are seeking for a real adventure!

Notable Features

Apart from being the only server with SD/HD and 2007/2010 themed-graphics, Alora offers a lot of OSRS content such as Chambers of Xerics, Tithe Farm, Tears of Guthix, Pyramid Plunder, the Nightmare and Theatre of Blood. On top of that, they also have multiple modes to cater all players. Apart from the casual Iron Man Modes, players can also choose to play in Classic, Realism and Elite Ironman Mode for slower experience rates or in Group Ironman Mode. With that said there is a lot of content to cover.

Player vs Monster (PvM)

We kick it off with PvM, which receives an outstanding solid five stars. Alora has a reputation for quickly adapting to Oldschool Runescape’s latest additions. This means players that play Alora will find themselves fighting new OSRS content on the same week or shortly after Oldschool Runescape has done a release. Currently, Alora is home to 25 bosses, ranging from the infamous God Wars Dungeon all the way to the latest boss: The Nightmare. This is excluding activities like Wintertodt, the Gauntlet, Inferno, and others. All of their bosses have mechanics identical to OSRS, so you will find no problems with adapting your existing skills to the challenges that Alora has to offer

image.png
↑ Image 1: The Nightmare of Ashihama, one of the many OSRS Bosses that Alora has to offer.

PROS CONS
Quickly Adds New Bosses None
Bosses Are Identical to OSRS
Large amount of Bosses

Skilling

When playing Alora, you will find that ít offers a large variety of skilling methods. You can do pretty much anything. Mine falling stars, catch all salamanders, create mahogany homes or mine dense essence rocks. Out of all the RSPS, Alora has the most features when it comes to skilling. On top of that, they also offer skilling minigames such as e.g. Pyramid Plunder, Tithe Farm, Tears of Guthix, amongst many others. Yes, they have Wintertodt, Zalacano and Puro Puro. If you love skilling, you surely will find your place at Alora.

image.png
↑ Image 3: Fully working Miscellania Management.

PROS CONS
All OSRS Skills None
Unique skilling minigames
Insane Variety in Each Skill
Skilling Methods are Identical to OSRS

Player vs Player (PvP or Pking)

Alora possesses a flawless PvP combat system and content that draws players into Wilderness, such as Revenants, Crystal Dragons, Wilderness Bosses and more. While it does cater to PvP players, they will still have to level up and acquire gear as this is primarily an economy server.

image.png
↑ Image 4: Ferox Enclave is the restored remains of a small town in the middle of the Wilderness.

PROS CONS
Wilderness Activity Have to level and get gear
PvP Events

Minigames

Alora offers a lot of minigames. Seriously, a whole whooping lot. With 21 minigames, you won’t find enough time to play through them all. The only problem is that there could be some issues finding groups for larger minigames, as some are less popular than others. However, the majority of them are solo or typically have events on them so there shouldn’t be too many issues. We highly recommend that you try out Pyramid Plunder and Tithe Farm, as there is no other RSPS that has those minigames fully functional.

image.png
↑ Image 5: Alora even has Tith Farm as one of their 20+ minigames.

PROS CONS
Tons of Minigames (20+) None
Identical to OSRS

Player activity

While Alora was previously found holding over a thousand players, it has dwindled down by a bit. During their peak they hold around 500-600 hundred players, outside of that there are usually 250-350 players online. While that amount certainly isn’t a small one, you may find it hard to find a group of players to participate with when playing certain minigames or want to participate in some special activity..

image.png
↑ Image 6: Alora is an active server with many players. Always around 250+ online!

PROS CONS
Large amount of players Decreased over the last year
Dedicated staff team

Other content

As with everything else, Alora also exceeds in misc content. They offer quests such as Dragon Slayer 2 for players to take on if they are ready to battle mighty foes. If not, no worries! Alora also has several fun activities for the more casual player, who can take on twisted leagues, clue scrolls or even enjoy some competitive fun with fellow group ironmen.

PROS CONS
Quests and Achievements None
Weekly events such as League

Conclusion    (4.7 on average)

If you are looking for a stable server with too much content for your mind, Alora might be the perfect RSPS for you. They offer identical content to Oldschool Runescape and quickly adapt to whatever is the latest trend. On top of that they also offer multiple challenges, ranging from bosses to minigames to adventures such as clue scrolls, quests and more. You will find yourself overwhelmed with the amount of entertainment to be found at Alora.

⚔️Roat Pkz Review 2023 1K+ Online⚔️

Roat Pkz Review

Roat Pkz is an OldSchool Runescape private server with a heavy focus on PvP and is packed with a variety of both exciting and innovative content appealing to multiple types of players, including PvM too. Founded by Gretar in 2011, Roat Pkz has been running smoothly ever since with over 400 active players online daily! Considering its many years of success and massive player base, it is clear Roat Pkz is one of the leading RSPS for a reason.
In this server review, we will break down some of Roat Pkz’s notable content, as well as examine the quality of its features and player activity. Based on 30-point scale – ranging from 1 to 5 stars – our team will rate Roat Pkz in attempt to help you decide if this is the right server for you. Keep in mind: many servers are constantly evolving, so certain categories may improve over time. It is always a good idea to try servers out for yourself and come to your conclusions!
Now let’s kick this off with an interview from the owner of Roat Pkz, Gretar!

Notable Features

If you are the type of player who enjoys the PvP aspect of Runescape, then you will certainly love playing Roat Pkz! The wilderness at Edgeville servers as the main center for activity and caters to all PK builds and types. Some unique features include daily PvP achievements and tasks, hitpoint events, daily PK tournaments and a Clan Cup for huge OSRS prizes.

Roat Pkz development team also releases frequent updates which maintains the quality of the game at an extremely high standard. Players love updates, right?!

Player vs Monster (PvM)

Although Roat Pkz is mainly a PvP server, it does offer players unique PVM content. Killing bosses such as the Roat Pkz champion, Corporeal beast and Skotizo can be a lucrative money maker. Due to the vast number of players, you won’t have trouble finding PVM clans / partners.

↑ Image 1: A custom boss named “Roat Pkz Champion” that can be fought in the wilderness.

PROS CONS
PvM Tasks & Achievements Limited OSRS bosses
Custom Bosses Not so much PvM activity
Bosses drop decent loot

Skilling

Roat Pkz has developed its own skilling zone to cater to skillers that consists of thieving stalls, trees, and fishing spots. You can earn skilling points for successfully completing tasks and leveling up skills which can spent in shops found around the game. Roat Pkz is missing a number of skills which is why they are receiving 3 stars from us. This is quite common for servers that are primarily oriented towards Player vs Player gameplay.

image.png
↑ Image 2: Multiple thieving stalls around the home area to pickpocket money.

unknown (1).png
↑ Image 3: One of the skilling zones on Roat Pkz, a great way to make additional money.

PROS CONS
Skilling is a decent money maker Some skills are missing
Unique skilling zones Most skills are not 1:1 with OSRS

Player vs Player (PvP or Pking)

Player killing on Roat Pkz is highly enjoyable, so there is no question why so many players choose it as their main source for PvP gameplay. Firstly, Roat Pkz keeps things interesting by providing players with countless PK related events and incentives every day. The Most NH kills/Hybrid kills and dharok kills for great rewards. It is also important to mention how great the Roat Pkz combat system is. The developers behind this server have contributed countless hours into the combat mechanics. Many players consider Roat Pkz player killing to be nearly flawless! You will not have any trouble finding a match in this thriving Wilderness. Roat Pkz is full of numerous active PvP clans which makes the server very appealing to new players and the competitive nature of it incredibly fun.

unknown (3).png
↑ Image 4: Wilderness is the most active place on Roat Pkz, many clan fights aswell.

PROS CONS
Majority of the server PK’s None
Great combat system

Minigames

Roat Pkz offers players various minigames to choose from with some of the most popular games being Castle Wars, Last Man Standing (LMS), and the tournament system! These different minigames attract numerous players through automatic announcements made in-game. Roat Pkz also gives away a jaw-dropping 500m OSRS weekly in their tournament system!
I participated in a Dharoks tournament during the week of writing this review and found a lot of entertainment and fun while competing against other players!

unknown (5).png
↑ Image 5: A unique tournament system that is activly used by all sorts of players.

PROS CONS
Numerous players compete in Minigames Only 3 main minigames
Juicy OSRS prizes!

Player activity

Without a doubt, Roat Pkz fully deserves 5 stars for its player activity. This server averages over 400 players online every day and sometimes reaches 550 on weekends. The Wilderness and home area is well populated with players conversing and trading! Roat Pkz has a dedicated staff team in-game and on the forums to assist players with their needs, suggestions and problems that may arise while playing. There are currently 17 members in their staff team which speaks volumes on just how much energy is put into this server.
Keep in mind – this server has been online for nearly 10 years! In this time, Roat Pkz has seen a fluctuation in its player base like most servers. However, Roat Pkz has always seen over 150 players online for its entire existence in the RSPS scene ..which is a great feat!

PROS CONS
Over 400 players online None
Dedicated staff team

Other content

Roat Pkz has implemented a massive variety of unique content to the game. This server contains 1040 achievements and tasks to complete ranging from participating in an event to mining runite rocks. The variation of content is constantly entertaining!

The Clan Cup also attracts a great number of different clans to compete for the most kills! These Clan Cup’s occur every single month with over 15B OSRS given away over time!

Roat Pkz recent clan cup can be found here.

PROS CONS
Frequent events None
Tons of tasks and achievements

Conclusion    (4.3 on average)

In conclusion, it is fair to say Roat Pkz is one of our top picks for PvP servers considering the quality and vastness of it features. Not to mention the longevity of the server is quite notable. There is no doubt Roat Pkz is very easily one of the longest running RSPS in existence. This server offers players a highly enjoyable experience through its highly active community and ever-evolving content.
If you are the type of player who enjoys more PVM and Skilling content, then we would recommend a different server you can read up on in our other server reviews on RuneList! However, if you receive a thrill out of the PvP aspect of OSRS, then we highly recommend you play Roat Pkz and see what you think for yourself!

💎Zaros Rsps Server Review 💎

Zaros Server Review

First Impressions Zaros offers several game modes to satisfy all types of players. Those who haven’t played a lot of ed a RSPS or took a long break can take a tour around Zaros which explains the sections rated in this review (PvM, Skilling, etc). There seems to be a lot of activity in more or less all areas of the game which is a nice change from smaller servers. While Zaros isn’t the perfect server you might ever want – It most certainly is close to being one.

Notable Features

There’s a lot of notable features such as multiple worlds, extreme player count, multiple training methods and a lot of content such as all ironman modes (normal, group, hardcore, etc) and a fancy yet simple teleportation system. It has content for days, a solid security system with 2FA, forum and email verification and even offers questing! Ho-ly! That’s a lot. Let us take a look at various aspects of the game individually to try to cover it all, starting off with PvM.

Player vs Monster (PvM)

Unlike other private servers, Zaros has a multitude of bosses ranging from Obor and Bryophyta to the Nightmare, Inferno and Raids 1 & 2. In other words there’s a massive amount of bosses to fight, from easy ones to insanely difficult ones. There’s also the ability to use instances to avoid getting crashed or crashing others, which is a big pro for ironmen and other solo players. On top of that, the drop rates seemed pretty balanced meaning you don’t have to grind an eternity for a drop but at the same time probably won’t get one in the first few kills. One downside is that it might be difficult to fight a few monsters as certain areas are highly swamped with players.

zaros 1.png
↑ Image 1: Displaying a list of bosses including the Nightmare of Ashihama, The Inferno, Raids I and Raids II

PROS CONS
Serveral Bosses (20+) Swamped areas
Instances
Balanced drop rates

Skilling

Skilling is extraordinary. First and foremost, all skills are fully functional on Zaros. That means you can train Agility on all courses , try out Aerial Fishing or chase imps in Puro-Puro. Secondly, there are xp boosts for those of you who hate a certain skill. You can skip a few levels in Runecrafting, or train it from start to finish by visiting Juna at the Tears of Guthix. Finally, there’s both solo and group training methods. If you’re too tired from Firemaking by burning logs, you can take on Wintertodt with a party of players to gain both experience and items.

zarod 2.png
↑ Image 2: Skilling on Zaros including outfits like the Carpenter and Lumberjack, also working minigames.

PROS CONS
All OSRS Skils None
XP Boosts (Outfits, minigames, ect)
Identical to OSRS
Group & Solo Training Methods

Player vs Player (PvP or Pking)

While Zaros offers perfect switching, formulas identical to OSRS and superb PvP content (Presets, PvP Zone, Wildy Bosses and more), the interest in PvP is lacking. There’s between 2 to 15 players fighting in various areas depending on what the time is. If you are looking for some Player VS Player action, you will have to search thoroughly to find a single fight.

zaros 3.png
↑ Image 3: Multiple PvP teleports, but sadly even the PK Hotspot is dead.

PROS CONS
Perfect Combat System Low PvP Interest
Presets & Overlays (Timers, ect) Weak “PvP incentives”

Minigames

When it comes to Minigames, Zaros is unrivalled with the amount that it has to offer. With up to 19 minigames including unique mini’s like Tears of Guthix, Observatory and others, you will find yourself running from one to another in a never ending cycle of entertainment. On top of that, there are minigames for all types of players. Pkers will find themselves fighting in Last Man Standing and Tournaments, Skillers will be grinding Zalcano & Wintertodt while PvMers are busy taking down the Great Olm and Verzik amongst others. Oh, and did I mention they are all identical to OSRS?

minigames.png
↑ Image 4: Zaros has a lot of minigames including Tears of Guthix, Zalcano and Castle Wars.

PROS CONS
Multiple Minigames (15+) None
Work exactly like OSRS
Serveral Minigame Types (PvP/PvM/Skill)

Player activity

As Zaros currently holds the most players out of all Runescape Private Servers, it fairly deserves five stars for player activity. With over 1,500 players online at all times and over 2,000 at peak times, you will have no problems finding a friend, a group or even a whole party to play the game with. It also makes the game more entertaining to play, knowing that you can speak to anyone at any time which removes the feeling of loneliness. However, as with all big games – Less attention is given to each individual player as it is impossible for a team of even 20 staff to deal with 2,000 players.

playeractivity.png
↑ Image 5: Zaros has two worlds full of people, around 1,500 players online at all times.

PROS CONS
Easy to find friends & groups Less attention to “you”
More entertaining

Other content

If you’re more of an adventurer that enjoys roaming cities and doing quests, don’t worry – Zaros covers that too. There’s over 12 quests in Zaros that are identical to OSRS. Not to mention achievements that range from easy to elite such as picking mort myre fungi and obtaining mega rare items from clue scrolls. Oh, clue scrolls. Yes, there are clue scrolls in Zaros. Not to mention everything else like skilling pets, collection logs, fossil hunting and mini-quests like Mage Arena II.

achievements.png
↑ Image 6: As seen in the picture a player can do numerous achievements, Zaros also has RuneLite.

PROS CONS
Collection Logs None
Quests & Mini-Quests
200+ Achievements (Easy-Elite)

Conclusion    (4.6 on average)

Zaros is the perfect server for skillers, adventurers and pvmers. It has a lot of content no matter if you enjoy playing with others or if you’re more of a lone wolf that goes with ironman modes. The only problem is that it doesn’t really have a lot of PKers for PvP action. However, Zaros satisfies the hunger of everyone else. They have the latest content and offer a lot of challenges for you. If you haven’t tried it already, we highly recommend you do.

✔️New Oldschool Near-Reality Review 2022 ✔️

Oldschool Near-Reality Review

Near Reality (NR) is an OSRS RSPS with a focus on replicating content. Therefore, you can expect a lot of gameplay to be similar, but with a faster pace. One of the examples can be seen at the minigames and bosses that NR holds; Obor, Bryophyta, Zalcano, Tears of Guthix, Pyramid Plunder, etc. With an already high player count that is steadily growing, NR is home to all kinds of adventurers that enjoy OSRS but with a breath of fresh air.

Notable Features

As NR focuses a lot on OSRS, its notable features is mainly the impeccable ability to replicate content to Oldschool Runescape’s standards. The combat is great, the variety of content is amazing and the community is phenomenal. By playing NR, you won’t feel as if you are part of a server, you will feel as if you are playing the game itself but faster, and with a more close-hearted community

Player vs Monster (PvM)

When we say that there are a lot of PvM challenges, we mean it. NR has a boss for everyone, from Obor and Bryophyta for weaker players, to Vorkath, Zulrah for intermediate, all the way to Chambers of Xeric for those with experience. If you are more into skilling, fear not, as NR has skilling bosses as well, such as Zalcano, Wintertodt and the Gauntlet. They even have the Mimic for players that love clues, how amazing! With that being said, the PvM-aspect is fully covered as the developers have put a lot of love and effort into creating a variety of bosses for players to kill.

olm1.png
↑ Image 1: An group of brave players fighting the Great Olm.

PROS CONS
Balanced Drop Rates None
Both Beginner and End-Game Bosses
Identical to OSRS
Skill and Combat Bosses

Skilling

Training skills on NR is immaculate. There are a load of methods for you to train each skill, and each skill has something to it. For instance, Thieving has both pickpocketing, stalls, and Pyramid Plunder. Mining has regular ores, salts, the quarry, and the Motherload mine. The list goes on. On top of that, there are also skilling outfits to increase your gains, which is magnificent. In sum, all skills are functional and can be trained in multiple ways, with multiple roads leading to 99 in a skill.

zalcano2.png
↑ Image 2: Sklling boss, Zalcano.

PROS CONS
All Skills Trainable None
Serveral Methods for Each Skill
Rich Economy

Player vs Player (PvP or Pking)

Since NR is mainly an Economy server where players have to train and obtain their items from the start, PvP is somewhat of a sore thumb. To begin with, there are low to none Wilderness incentives. People that visit the Wilderness do it due to areas such as the Wilderness Slayer, Revenants, etc. Therefore, most of the players are there for PvM purposes, where you will find players separate or just casually talking while doing their activities. While the combat is quite decent, the problem lies in the lack of players and the lack of Wilderness content, which discourages players to visit it.

EDIT: At August 2022, there are about 20 people in the wilderness (out of 400). There are also Wilderness events now.

pvp.png
↑ Image 3: Wilderness PvP

PROS CONS
PvP Combat is Good Very Few Wilderness Incentives
Leveling Takes Time (Economy Server) Difficult to get good items (AGS, ACB, ect)

Minigames

Minigames are superb on NR, with a variety between solo and group, skilling and combat, and safe and dangerous minigames. A great balance of all. There are minigames for the skillers, e.g. Pyramid Plunder, Tears of Guthix and Motherload Mine. Next, there are also activities for PvMers such as the Inferno, Warriors Guild and Barrows. Finally, there is also the infamous OG Duel Arena for people who want to get risky and bet their belongings. The only thing missing are minigames revolving around PvP, e.g. Last Man Standing or a Bounty Hunter system for the Wilderness. However, since this is an Economy server it still deserves a solid 5 stars.

inferno.png
↑ Image 4: The Inferno.

inferno2.png
↑ Image 5: The Inferno.

PROS CONS
A Lot of Minigames None
High Variety (Group/Solo/Skill/PvM)

Player activity

Currently, on the 20th of August, there are roughly 400 players online. This is quite an achievement, and a remarkable number to hold. The server has been released for over a month now, and still has 300+ members online every day. Although the server is still very new. Therefore, the server might hold far lower or higher players than when the review was written. But, the discord community holds an insane 5,000 members, so the activity will always be top-notch.

PROS CONS
High Player Activity
Massive Discord Community
Server Recently Launched

player.png
↑ Image 6: Player activity at home

Other content

Apart from PvM and Skilling, NR also offers four experience rates per game mode, with a total of five game modes. This leaves you with 20 modes to choose from, with each mode having its own restrictions and benefits. Next, there are also achievement diaries identical to the OSRS ones, with QoL rewards to make your life easier. Not enough? No worries, NR also has treasure trails, full collection logs, weekly events and far more.

PROS CONS
Weekly updates Not much unique content (yet)

Conclusion    (4.3 on average)

Near Reality grants you the full OSRS experience, but at a faster pace for those who do not have time to spend years and years upon grinding an account. Even if you want a slower pace, it is available through different game and experience modes. This game is for those who want longevity, and want to be able to play the same RSPS for years to come. We highly recommend this game to players who are looking for a grind, a community, and a place to stay.

Zulrah – A Good Strategy For Good Profit 2023

Zulrah – a good strategy for good profit 2023

Zulrah is a popular boss due to its considerably low requirements to kill and good, consistent runescape gold per hour. According to Old School RuneScape Wiki, single kill of Zulrah will earn you approximately 160k gold. Once you will get skilled with Zulrah mechanics, you can expect to make from 2M to 3.8M gp per hour which could easily earn you 10M  per day by spending just 3-5 hours after school or work. There is a 1/256 chance to hit unique drop table, which you can reduce to 1/128 because of cool Zulrah feature to always give you double drop. There are 4 unique drops you might get which are listed below with current (2019 February) G.E. prices:

  • Tanzanite fang currently sells for 5M
  • Magic fang currently sells for 4.5M
  •  Serpentine visage currently sells for 5M
  •  Uncut Onyx currently sells for 3M
Because of this double drop feature you can even hope for double unique drop to get that juicy 10M  in single kill:

Another cool feature about Zulrah is that even if you die during combat, you will be able to retrieve your lost stuff with no cost, which is not an option for such solo bosses like Alchemical Hydra or Vorkath. This means that you can practice your skills with very low cost, even if you will be dying a lot at the beginning.

Requirements:

    • The main requirement to unlock killing Zulrah will be

Regicide

quest, which additionally requires 56 Agility and subquests like Underground Pass, Biohazard, Plague City. Without Regicide quest completed you won’t be able to use teleportation methods near to Zul-andra area.

Combat requirements:

    • Combat levels to kill Zulrah are more recommended than required as even “pure” players with 1 defence are killing Zulrah for money. Even though, high Magic and Ranged level will really help to speed up your kills and we highly recommend having at least these combat levels: 80+ Magic; 75+ Ranged; 70+ Defence; 40+ Prayer (

40 is required

to use magic and ranged prayer protections).

Gear setup: Bellow you can find 3 different gear setups to kill Zulrah.First gear setup: First equipment setup is the least effective, but also the cheapest. This setup will only cost you around 12M old school gold. If you are looking for items names to buy them on G.E, here is the list:Weapons:

Trident of the swamp (magic) and Toxic blowpipe (ranged).

Head slot:

Farseer helm (could be swapped for mystic hat if you don’t have Fremenink trials done).

Armors:

Mystic robes (mage), any Blessed d’hide armor (ranged).

Shield slot:

    • Book of darkness.

Gloves slot:

Barrows gloves (could be swapped to combat braclet).

Jewelry slot:

    • Occult necklace (mage), Amulet of glory (ranged), Ring of recoil

(must!)

    .

Cape slot:

Any God cape, I am wearing Zamorakian on this example.

Second gear setup:

This setup is enough to kill Zulrah effectively, I am using this setup to this day when I want to make some extra old school runescape money  or when I run out of scales for my blowpipe and I don’t feel like I want to buy it from G.E. This gear will cost you around 63M gp. Items list:

Weapons:

Trident of the swamp (magic) and Toxic blowpipe (ranged).

Armors:

Ahrim’s armors with Eternal boots (mage), Karil’s armors (ranged).

Head slot:

    Ahrim’s hood.

Shield slot:

    Malediction ward.

Gloves slot:

Barrows gloves (could be swapped with Granite gloves).

Jewelryslot:

Occult necklace (mage), Necklace of anguish (ranged), Ring o suffering (charged with Recoil rings), any Blessing for arrows slot, I am using Unholy blessing for this example.

Cape slot:

any God cape imbued (mage); any Arrows assembler (ranged).

Third gear setup: This is the best possible gear to kill Zulrah which will cost you over 500M gp and will result in very fast kills. But please note that you need to be very skilled to use such equipment to full potential, therefore I would recommend sticking with second gear setup before you master Zulrah or upgrade your gear by buying most effective parts, like Bracelet of torture and Imbued heart which will increase your magic damage by 10%.  Items list:Weapons:

Trident of the swamp (magic) and Toxic blowpipe (ranged).

Armors:

Ancestral robes (mage), Armadyl armors (ranged).

Boots slot:

Eternal boots (mage), Pegasian boots (ranged).

Head slot:

Ancestral hat (mage), Armadyl helmet (ranged).

Shield slot:

    Arcane spirit shield.

Gloves slot:

Tormented bracelet (mage), Barrows gloves (ranged).

Jewelryslot:

Occult necklace (mage), Necklace of anguish (ranged), Ring of suffering (charged with Recoil rings), any Blessing for arrows slot.

Cape slot:

any God cape imbued (mage), any arrows assembler (ranged).

Consumables:

key consumables will be your best affordable food, Super restores, Prayer potions, Ranging potions, saradomin brews, Anti-Venom+, teleportation methods to Zul-Andra and bank just like displayed in previous setup images. Although, I wouldn’t recommend bringing any sara brews at the beginning of practice. Saradomin brews will extend your trips by increasing your kill counts per trip, but at first just take your best food, make your first kill, get comfortable with mechanics. You will feel when you are ready for extended trips with sara brews. For blowpipe I recommend using Adamant darts as they are most effective for the price range.

Other useful items you should! consider buying:Serpentine helm

: This item will make you immune to Zulrah venom poison which will result in 1 free inventory space and less items to be switched between (head slot). The downside of it is that your kills will become slower. This helm currently sells for 5M.

Sanguinesti staff:

If you can afford it, this staff from Theatre of Blood is a much better alternative than Trident of the swamp, because you won’t be able to make use of Trident’s special poisoning effect as Zulrah is immune to poison while Sanguinesti’s life leaching effect and +2 damage points will help you to make your kills even easier. This staff currently sells for 160M gold at oldschool runescape G.E.

Imbued heart:

This item could be used before each fight to increase your magic damage by 1-3 points. This magic boosting item currently sells for 21M gp.

Getting there:

There are two efficient ways to get to Zulrah. First one is to use fairy rings with code B*J*S. Although this will require 76 agility to get through stepping stone (71 agility with summer pie boost). The other way is to use Zul-Andra teleport which can be bought at G.E. for approximately 20k gp. Both locations are displayed below:

Zulrah Mechanics:

There are 2 main concepts for killing Zulrah you will need to learn.
  1. Zulrah Forms
  2. Zulrah Rotations.

Zulrah forms: Zulrah has 3 different forms with unique strengths and weaknesses which are:

  1. Green form (ranger). Which is using ranged attack and is vulnerable to magic attacks, therefore you should always use ranged prayer protection and attack him with your magic attack (Trident of the swamp).
  2. Red form (mele). Use your mage gear to fight mele Zulrah, she can hit up to 40+ and stun you after using some wiggle animation which is her special attack. Important! When she starts to wiggle you just need to step 1 square away from your previous location and she will miss her hit. When she wiggles, just imagine a rattlesnake warning you to move away from your current spot. You could also hide behind two pillars which will absorb the attack, but check rotations map first!
  3. Blue form (cancer mage). You will need to use protection mage against this form and use your blowpipe as she is vulnerable to ranged attacks. But I named this form as cancer not without a reason. You need to protect mage because she is using this combat style most often and hit the hardest, but sometimes she will hit with ranged attacks for which there are no way to protect from. No matter how skilled you are, the main reason for your deaths at Zulrah will be those repetitive ranged attacks from blue form, that’s how she earned her name as cancer mage.

These forms are displayed below: Rotations: There are 4 different rotations you will need to recognize at the start of the instance. All rotations start with green (Ranger) form in the middle of instance and you will always start the fight by standing in North East corner just like displayed below: I recommend setting your camera facing south just as showed in previous picture. This will give you best vision around instance and will make it easier to understand rotations map. Rotations map: As mentioned before, there are 4 rotations which in picture below are represented as column “Alpha”; “Bravo”; “Charlie” and “Delta”. Each Rotation, or column, starts from top and moves downwards after certain amount of time. Purple dot indicates location where you should stand during each step of it. First form is always green (ranger) and the second form after will determine which rotation you will need to follow, in my case I got blue form on step 2 just like displayed below:

    • Which means I received

“Delta”

    • rotation, therefore I will switch to my ranger gear and pray mage to fight cancer mage form. Once she will lay down beneath, I will move to

step 3

    • on rotation “Delta” which tells me to move south north (indicated in rotation map by purple dot) where I’ll be fighting green (ranger) form Zulrah, which means I will switch to my mage gear and turn protection mage on, on

step 4

    • I will be fighting mage form with my range gear again, on

step 5

    • will be hiding behind pillars (indicated by grey dots) from mele Zulrah attacks while dealing damage with my mage gear setup and so on. On

step 11

    • you will face

green JAD Zulrah

, which you will still need to fight with your mage gear on, but this time you will need to flick between mage and ranged prayers for each attack Zulrah makes. Just as indicated in “Delta” column step 11, you will start by praying mage, then switch to ranged protection after Zulrah makes single attack, then back to protection mage and so on until step is finished. After step 12, rotation will restart, and you will start rotatoions from the beginning.

Additional information: During the fight, Zulrah will be spawning venom clouds and minions known as snakelings which can deal up to 15+ damage. To protect against snakelings it is SUPER IMPORTANT to bring Ring of recoil or Ring of suffering charged with Rings of recoil, because snakelings will kill themselves after hitting you as they have only 1 hitpoint. Also it is vital to have anti-venom+ potion ready (or wield Serpentine helm), otherwise you will get poisoned by venom clouds and Zulrah’s mage/range attacks. Clouds will still deal damage to you even if you’re using anti-venom+ potion or Serpentine helm, these tools will only protect you from getting poisoned. Venom is a much stronger form than regular poison.

A Complete Ultimate OSRS Botting Guide 2023

Ultimate OSRS Botting Guide 2023

In this tutorial, you will get exactly what it is in the title of this page. This is going to be the ultimate guide to creating and scaling profitable gold farms and the reason why we are qualified to write this guide is that we have scaled our gold farms to over $100,000 in the span of a few months so we know a thing or two about it.

Part 1: Account Creation

Let’s start from the very beginning with account creation. Since creating an account on datacentre proxies is no longer possible, you are pretty much left with 3 options:

1 . Home IP (not recommended)

If you go this way, I suggest doing 1 account a day. If you create bulk accounts on your home IP, then there’s a big chance to get chain banned because the accounts will be linked together right when creating them.

2.  Mobile Data (not recommended)

The accounts will be linked here as well but at least you keep your home IP untouched.

3. Bot Manager

Creating accounts with the bot manager is the safest way to go. Account creation happens on our cloud platform so your home IP and your main will be completely isolated. If you are serious about gold farming you would wanna use a software to automate everything anyway. The bot manager will also unlock your accounts automatically.

3. Residential proxies

Account creation is also possible on residential proxies. You can create them manually using maxthon browser. You can find residential proxies hosted in Uk and USA in our store.

Part 2: Tutorial Island

Once the accounts are ready, we highly suggest doing tutorial island manually   and do this in runelite with proxifier on. Never bot tutorial island or buy tutorial island ready accounts.

Use a human-like name in tutorial island and choose a random outfit, don’t go with the standard bot look. This will get a lot of attention from other players and more reports.

osrs botting

Default Character VS Human Like Character

Default Name VS Human-Like Name

Part 3: F2P VS P2P

When you finally get off tutorial island you can choose to bot straight in pay to play or free to play. We usually use the account builder and hill giant script to get some skils/combat levels up before switching to members.

We recommend for you to do the same. We will cover some f2p and p2p gold farming methods in the next chapters.

Another great script for F2P is Wine Telegraber. Its free to use. The only requirements are 20 Hp and 33 Magic, but 37 Magic is highly recommend for faster banking to Falador.

f2p bot farm

Don’t use methods that everyone uses like Mort Myre fungus, that’s not even worth it anymore. Instead, focus on new content or things that the majority of people are not doing. Soul wars is new to the game and it’s easy to gold farm. Moreover, since it’s new, Jagex machine learning algorithm doesn’t have sufficient data to show cast which account is a player and which one is a bot so it’s very hard to get banned unless there’s a serious error in the script’s code. In soul wars, you can make between 300 to 600k per hour depending on how much zeal you get per hour. With Super Soul wars I was getting around 70-80 with breaks inbetween. The bans are very low in Soul Wars and accounts are relatively easy to make, you only need 500 total level and at least 40 combat which you can easily get just by botting a few quests. Soul wars is one of my main gold farming methods now, alongside Stealth Passive Gold Farmer and a few others that I decide to not mention.

Each of my soul wars bot makes around 2m gp a day. I only bot it for 8 to 10 hours a day with breaks in between.

Part 3: Avoiding profiling

Make sure to train random stats up on each account. Accounts with only 1 skill trained are obviously bots. On our accounts, we train all skills and we also get over 40 to 50 quest points with Stealth Quester. Just by doing quests like tourist trap you are going to gain total levels as well.

Our account builder support cooking, hunter, fletching, smithing, fishing, herblore, crafting, agility, mining, runecrafting, woodcutting and it will train these stats in the most efficient way allowing you to build human like bots with 1 click.

Since botting nightmare zone is low in bans, try getting your accounts to over 90 combat there. Moreover, you can also bot range and magic in Nightmarezone. For range, go with a magic short bow with rune arrows and for magic go with a firebolt. Stealth Nightmarezone is a good script for this.

Do minigames such as pest control, fight caves, etc. Having a full void set and a firecape is something that bots usually do not have.

Part 4: Mirror mode or Stealth injection?

Botting in mirror mode is no longer a thing.  All our bots are now in stealth injection.  This comes with an advantage now as it uses about 3 times less resources than mirror.

Part 5: Gold farming

Gold farming the same method over and over again is also no longer viable. Try to do multiple money-making methods on the same account. You can do a combination of soul wars, cooking, saracnis, herb runs, farm runs, and so on. Focus on scalable gold farming methods and avoid hotspots at all cost. Jagex hired more people and they now manually check over botted areas like Zulrah, Wintertod which is used to build HCIM accounts and Vorkath. They also check grand exchange more often, especially in crowded areas, so you would do much better if you would use another type of bank that is less used.

For highly watched skills like agility or runecrafting it’s better to hire someone to train your accounts for you.

We personally spend between 500 to 700 dollars each month on Venezuelan services alone. We usually hire them to get our accounts to nightmare zone ready or train highly watched skills or simply bot quests that are not supported by scripts such as bone voyage. You can hire Venezuelan workers here.

Part 6: Breaks

Try to take breaks as much as possible and also try to mimic sleep patterns. If you suicide bot there’s a high chance you will get banned within 2 days. In 2 days, you will probably not even break even so it’s not worth suiciding nowadays.

Now how long should you break for?

  • For bank standing skills like cooking you can bot for 30 to 40 minutes and take a break for 8 to 20 minutes.
  • For combat, like nightmarezone, break every 1 dream for 12 to 38 minutes.
  • For quests, you can take a break after 1 or 2 quests or switch the activity and do some skilling.

Part 7: Muling

Now let’s talk about muling for a bit because Jagex started to ban more and more accounts for real-world trading.

When we trade our gp to the bots we simply trade the gold with a muling script (included in the bot manager). We usually transfer just 1 to 2m gp. That should be enough for supplies. Since we use membership codes, there is no need to transfer gp for bonds.  we also use multiple muling accounts, they are usually accounts that had been unbanned before or had a 2-day ban, and when we mule the gold farming money back we use the same script, but we do drop trade all the gp from the low-level mules to the main mule we have and then we proceed to sell it.

Part 8: Maximizing profits

If you decide to rent a server, make sure you run some accounts overnight as well. Servers can get expensive so you want to maximize profits as much as possible. To maximize profits I always suggest appealing your accounts when they get banned and if you get them back you can either use them as mules or switch them to another proxy and suicide them and if they get banned again, you can just appeal your accounts as hijacked one more time and suicide your account again and repeat this process until jagex will deny your appeal. I actually got one of my accounts unbanned 8 times, so this works.

If you managed to bot your accounts for a long time, you probably got pretty high stats as well, or maybe a pet, in this case, it could be much profitable to just sell your account. There’s multiple platforms where you can sell accounts, I personally sell mine in my own discord, but if you don’t have a discord, you can sell on player auctions.

You will need a reputation tho for selling accounts otherwise it will be much harder to sell.

Final thoughts

This concludes this guide, hopefully, it helped you and you got value from it. If you still believe you need an extra push, you can check out the paid version of this guide. Unlike this free guide, the paid one is much more in-depth and specific and you also get our help personally.

If you want to scale your farm further you can check out the bot manager, it will help you with account creation and unlocking, script queueing, automated muling, it also includes a hill giant script with obor support, a chaos druid script, a f2p progressive firemaking script and more.

OSRS Money Making Guide

1. Looting: The Spoils of War

OSRS Gold Guide

If you’re new to Gielinor, getting quick cash to fund your journey might seem like a skill on its own. Thankfully, looting supplies left by other players in high traffic player vs player (PVP) areas proves to be a rewarding solution for new and seasoned adventures strapped for gold.

What is Looting and How can I Do It?

At its core, looting is grabbing the spoils left over from PVP combat. Specific worlds and areas in the game are designated PVP zones. Here, players engage in intense combat through melee, magic and, range to reap the rewards of their fallen foe. Which is typically their weapon, armor and, supplies.

Thing is, your inventory only has 28 spaces. Which means most loot won’t be picked up. So items left on the ground will be removed from game if they’re not scooped by money hungry players.

See the opportunity to score free treasures here?

When player kisses the ground from a fatal KO blow – stand where they were and wait.

The winner will take what they want and likely leave the rest of the spoils where they lie. Now check it. In minutes, you’ll have access to an assortment of hot ticket items which you can instantly sell for heaps of gold. Question becomes, where’s a solid spot to loot?

Pro Tip: Try These Looting Hot Spots

  • Populated towns in PVP worlds (Varrock, Edgeville, Seers Village)
  • Deep Wilderness Teleport Locations
  • Edgeville Bounty Hunter Minigame
  • Revenant Caves

Look, it doesn’t matter if you’re a total noob or 15-year-old veteran, consider giving this OSRS money making method a rapid-fire shot. You’d be surprised how easy and quick this zero requirement money making method can be regardless of your Runescape experience.

2. Item Flipping: Re-Invest for Long-Term Success

runescape money making

Imagine you’re standing beside the massive pillars of Varrocks Grand Exchange (GE).

People are chatting. You have your best weapon in hand, wearing your favorite pair of stylish boot to complete your fashionscape attire. Suddenly, a low level player trades you and shows off 50 Million like he just unearthed 3rd age from completing a hard clue.

You think to yourself “how do they have all that glistening gold?!”

Sometimes in OSRS, to make money, you need money. And while there is a pool of guides to plunge into, an effective path to generate a lot of long-term gold is flipping items on the GE.

What is Flipping and How Can I Profit?

Simply put – item flipping is the art of buying for low and selling for high. Sounds familiar, doesn’t it? This is how merchanting works in the real world. Since prices in Runescape vary based on rarity or necessity, you can flip items with high ticket value (think 1 pair of dragon claws) or items that stack in quantity (think 1000 lobsters or potions).

Say you want to flip a boatload of those freshly caged lobsters. Here’s how you can make money using price margins:

  1. Buy one lobster to find its selling price (131 GP)
  2. Sell that lobster to find it’s buying price (141 GP)
  3. Subtract the numbers to pinpoint your profit margin (10 GP per lobster)

Now how do you take advantage of these juicy margins?

Put in a large offer and buy a high quantity (1000+) of lobster for 131 GP each. When they buy, quickly toss them back in the GE for 141 GP each. Now wait…or loot more supplies in the meantime!

Soon your lobsters will sell and you’ll score a free 10k+ for minimal work with no skill requirement. Imagine how fast you’ll get gold when you scale to 10,000 lobsters… Best of all, you can use this tactic as a F2P money making method in OSRS too.

3. Buying OSRS Gold: What You Should Know

runescape gold

So far you’ve learned two lucrative ways to make short and long-term OSRS gold.

Not bad. However, these methods may still swallow your time like 99 slayer, yikes!

Remember that low level chap from the GE? Yes, the one who flaunted that 50 Million. He’s back. And this time he’s eager to showcase his 200M stack of gleaming gold, which, he follows up with a cheeky little “lul”.

Pay him no mind because there’s a solid chance he didn’t get that money PKing 7 Armadyl Godswords or runecrafting to 99 at the nature altar – but rather, buying gold from a trusted supplier.

What to Look For from Your Runescape Gold Supplier

Before you purchase or sell your Old School Runescape Gold, you may want to do your homework (no, not the stressful kind). Just the essentials for a better gold buying experience.

You see, some suppliers promise the lowest prices on RS3 or OSRS gold. Others, the fastest delivery time in all of Gielinor. Two very important factors. But if you want an insider secret on how to recognize professionals gold selling/buying sites from the scammers, check the website for:

  • Testimonies – Reviews left by other satisfied players like you who want to enjoy the game and have the levels, items, and money to do what they want, when they want.
  • 24/7 Live Support – Usually overlooked but critical as your max hit. Be sure your supplier offers live contact with a real site representative. From the beginning moments of your transaction, until your gold hits your inventory – be in touch. This way, you’re likely to dip, duck and dodge unofficial gold websites.
  • Value Driven Blog – It’s 2018, what’s a reliable Runescape service website without a content-rich blog? Blogs enhance community engagement and add value to all players for a sensational Runescape experience. Check our blog regularly for new OSRS money making tips, tricks and, guides.

The Complete Guide To Achieving 99 Attack, Strength & Defence In Oldschool RuneScape

Training combat in OSRS is one of the most beneficial set of skills to train in the game. A lot of content is locked behind having high combat stats, such as bosses, quests and achievement diaries. There is little to do in the game that is not benefited or made easier by having a high combat level. You will need some decent gear if you want to level up your combat stats fast and that will require buying some osrs gold. Where’s the place to get some? Here at food4rs! We provide 24/7 service with instant delivery and great prices!

Weapon & Armour Recommendations

There is a pretty clear tier list for weaponry and Armour in OSRS, however there is also a lot of junk weapons and Armour that shouldn’t be used under any circumstance. For Attack and Defence, I’m going to list the various weapons and Armour available, their level requirements and in what scenario you should be using them.

Which Weapons?

Adamant Scimitar 30 Always
Brine Sabre 40 Always

Other Notable Gear

Defender Various Defenders should be acquired as soon as the player can enter the Warrior’s Guild

Dragon Boots 60 Defence Before Primordial Boots obtained
Primordial Boots 75 Strength & Defence Always

The Early Levels

As with most skills, there is a method of skipping the very early levels which is highly recommend. In this instance, that is to complete the Waterfall Quest as soon as possible. The Waterfall Quest gives very generous XP rewards in Attack and Strength, enough to take a player from Level 1 in these skills to Level 30. Furthermore, the quest has no requirements and can be completed on a Level 3 character with the right strategy. It is also very quick, taking between 10 and 20 minutes to complete. This method is much faster than training traditionally, as achieving Level 30 Attack and Strength will take well over an hour, maybe even 2, if choosing to not using this method.

Popular Training Locations

Sand Crabs

The most popular training location by far for low to mid-level players is Sand Crabs, located in Greater Kourend. These monsters have a reasonable amount of HP (60) and a Defence level of 1, with 0 Defence bonus entirely. This means that players will be able to hit hard and accurately on these monsters. In addition to this, Sand Crabs have very low combat stats, meaning that they have a maximum hit of 1 and very bad accuracy. Players with a Defence level of over 30 should never have to eat food when fighting these. Players can pay 10K to travel to the Crab Claw Isle, which has more Sand Crabs than the beach, alongside spots whereby players can aggro 3-4 Sand Crabs at once. This is a very desirable location, as players can effectively ‘AFK’ as the Sand Crabs continue to attack them, making for some pretty high, low-effort XP gains.

Slayer

Not exactly a location, however training your combat stats via the Slayer skill is a very effective way of training, primarily due to the use of the Slayer Helmet. When equipped, whilst a player is fighting a monster that they are assigned to kill, the helmet provides a melee boost of 16.67%. This is a very effective boost and will be noticeably reflected in XP rates, as you’ll hit both harder and more often. Training via Slayer can be very rewarding, as some tasks have very generous drop tables. You’ll essentially be passively earning money whilst completing the task (training combat) that you originally set out to do. This is a very popular way of training combat, and is recommended by many people. Furthermore, if you are intending to obtain a high level in all skills eventually, training via Slayer makes a lot of sense. Otherwise, you are likely to achieve Level 99 in Attack, Strength and Defence long before you even see Level 90 in Slayer.

Nightmare Zone

Possibly the most popular training location for medium to high level players is the Nightmare Zone. This is a place where you can fight previous Quest bosses that you have completed, with the sole purpose of gaining XP. For effective XP gains, you need at least 5 Quest bosses enabled in your dream. The list of Quests that you are recommend to have completed are as follows. You should have at least 5 of these quests completed before you consider using the Nightmare Zone to train.

Quest Boss Unlocked
Haunted Mine Treus Dayth
Lost City Tree Spirit
Tree Gnome Village Khazard Warlord
What Lies Below King Roald
Vampire Slayer Count Draynor
Fight Arena Bouncer
Witch’s House Witch’s Experiment
The Grand Tree Black Demon
Holy Grail Black Knight Titan

If you have completed any 5 of these quests, you may opt to pay 22,000 coins (for Normal) or 26,000 coins (for Hard) to Dominic Onion for a Customisable Rumble. You will be able to enable or disable any bosses you have unlocked with the requirement that you may not begin until the bosses from at least 5 quests are enabled. You should disable all of the bosses, and enable just 5 of any of the bosses listed above. Hard mode is recommended as the XP rate will be slightly higher. The first time you enter Nightmare Zone, you should bring Prayer Potions with you and use Protection from Melee. After one or two trips using this method, you’ll have enough Reward Points to purchase Absorption potions and Overload potions. Absorption potions cost 1,000 reward points per dose and may only be used while in the Nightmare Zone. Drinking the potion causes the next 50 damage inflicted on the player to be absorbed, preventing the player from taking damage. Each dose will absorb 50 damage, which stacks with previous unused Absorption damage up to 1000 damage. Points earned from killing bosses in Nightmare Zone should be earned at a rate faster than you spend them on the required Absorption potions, meaning that once you have enough points for a full inventory of Absorption potions, you can rinse and repeat the process all the way until 99. Many players hold Nightmare Zone as the most effective place to train combat, due to the very low cost (only cost is to begin dreams) and due to the fact that excess points can be redeemed for various rewards, meaning that Nightmare Zone actually results in a profit.

Training & Money Making Hybrid Methods

There are countless monsters that you can train on that give sub-optimal XP rates (compared to Slayer and Nightmare Zone), however do provide some degree of profit. I will discuss a few of these methods briefly for players looking to earn a mixture of XP and GP, and care less about achieving optimal XP per hour.

Green Dragons

Situated in the Wilderness, Green Dragons can be a profitable method of training combat. Each kill is guaranteed a drop of at least 1x Green Dragonhide and 1x Dragon Bones, with an estimated combined value of around 4K. Hourly rates will vary greatly based on player level and efficiency, however GP per hour rates of 300-600K are achievable, with combat XP rates being noticeably lower than alternative methods, but still notable and worthwhile. There are several locations where you can kill these dragons, the most easily way to access them is by using the Games Necklace to teleport to the Corporal Beast Cave. From here, you can exit the cave, and head either East or West. Both locations have Dragons present, with the East location having more Dragons, but also more players and potentially more PKers. Do note that, as soon as you leave the Corporal Beast Cave, you’ll be inside the wilderness. This means that if you die, you will lose all your items and be unable to retrieve them. Therefore, it is recommend to take a ‘welfare’ gear setup, whilst restricting valuable items to a maximum of 3. This means, provided that you do not accidentally obtain a Skull above your head, you will keep the valuable items and not lose anything of value. You may also want to consider using a Looting Bag, to allow yourself to loot more items between banking, increasing XP and GP hourly gains.

Gargoyles

Requiring Level 75 Slayer to kill, Gargoyle’s are a very popular method of training combat at higher levels. They are located in the Morytania Slayer Tower, on the top floor. Their drop table is filled with consistently good drops, ranging in value from 10-50K. Additionally, these monsters are aggressive, meaning that players can chill and ‘AFK’ a lot more than when using alternative methods. A Ring of Wealth is recommended to be used here, as Gargoyle’s often drop Coins, of which the Ring of Wealth will automatically loot for you when equipped. Players can sustain their health here by using the Guthan’s Armour set, or by using the Saradomin Godsword special attack. Alternatively, you may use a Slayer Ring to teleport to the Slayer Tower quickly, and use a different teleport to get to a bank quickly, such as the Ring of Duelling (Castle Wars).

Rune Dragons

A final method, reserved only for high-level players, is killing Rune Dragons. Doing so requires the completion of the Dragon Slayer II quest, high combat stats, and adequate Dragonfire protection. After completion of the quest, they can be found in the eastern chamber of the Lithkren Vault. These Dragons deal heavy damage, even with max stats and gear, therefore you should expect to take a lot of damage here. Players should wear Insulated Boots here to reduce the damage of their special electric bolt attack. Additionally, Protection from Range should be used at all times to mitigate the damage of the Dragons. You may also want to consider using a Dwarf Cannon to increase damage output and kills per hour, as the cost of Cannonballs is almost certainly worthwhile. Rune Dragons are an incredibly consistent money maker, with each drop totalling 15K GP at minimum. They also have a 1/5000 chance of dropping a Dragon Metal Lump (Used to create the Dragon Crossbow), and a 1/8000 chance of dropping a Draconic Visage (Used to create the Dragonfire Shield), which makes them even more profitable. On average, you can expect to make 800K-1.5M profit per hour of being here. Despite the Dragons high hits, killing them is reasonably chilled out provided that you keep your hitpoints and prayer points high. Banking is quick if the player owns a Digsite Pendant, as they will be able to teleport straight back to the Dragon lair as required.

OldSchool RuneScape Flipping Guide

Flipping items
for profit on the Grand Exchange in Old School Runescape is easy and profitable money-making method if the correct steps are followed.

To start flipping, you can have any excess RuneScape gold, you have no matter how small, but with a large enough investment, millions of Gp can be earned per day in little to no time.

Choosing your flipping method

There are two main methods of flipping in Old School Runescape:

  • High volume flipping, which is a low-risk low reward,
  • Low-volume flipping, which is a high-risk & high reward method.

High volume flipping is flipping a large number of items for a small amount of profit per item.

Low volume flipping is flipping a single item or small batch of Items for a substantial profit per item.

High Volume Flipping

High Volume Flipping is the method mainly used by flippers without a large amount of OSRS gold to spare as it includes expected returns and short waits with little to no risk.

High volume flipping is flipping a large number of items that are cheap and frequently traded, such as food, potions, and runes.

To find an item to flip quickly, check the Old School Runescape Top 100 most frequently traded items page here http://services.runescape.com/m=itemdb_oldschool/top100?list=0.

Find an item that is above about 100 Gp and check its margins (see below for help with checking margins).

If the item has a substantial margin, add a buy order for that item for 1 Gp over the cost of what you sold it for to obtain the most profit.

If you are unable to buy your item anymore, you might have hit the buy limit for the RuneScape item, which will reset every 4 hours.

You can check this by searching for your item on the RuneScape wiki here: https://oldschool.runescape.wiki.

Another possibility is that somebody might have added a buy order for the item that is higher than yours.

In this case, you can choose to increase the price of your buy order or take the items you have now and cancel the buy order.

When your buy order is complete, or you are unable to obtain any more items, recheck your margins and add a sell order for 1 Gp less than what you just bought the item for.

For example, a player could buy 10,000 sharks for 1,000 Gp each after checking margins.

These margins could be buying for 999 Gp and selling for 1,011 each.

Once all of the sharks have been bought, margins can be checked once again if needed.

Next, the sharks could sell for 1,010 Gp each for a profit of 100,000 OldSchool RuneScape gold.

Low Volume Flipping

Low Volume flipping is often used by very experienced flippers to make large amounts of Gp but at the cost of significant investment, patience, and high risk.

Low volume flipping is similar to high volume flipping, but only a small amount of items are bought that are high cost.

Margin checking is often not economical due to its high cost for the costly items used in low volume flipping such as the Chamber of Xeric items, Theater of Blood Items, and other high-end PvM and PvP gear.

We recommend using ge-tracker.com to search for an item’s prices.

Using a Ge tracker, you can get a vague value of an item’s previous buying and selling price to place accurate buy and sell orders. When choosing an OSRS item, make sure an update is not coming out soon to nerf it or the content it excels at, or you could get stuck with millions of Gp lost.

When placing your buy order, you must understand that you might not see your return for a few hours or even days due to so little people trading these super high priced items, so if an item is not buying or selling soon enough, remember to have patience.

For example, a player could search on Ge Tracker for an item such as the Dragon claws, which looks like they could be bought for 55,000,000 Gp and sold for 56,500,000 Gp. This margin is significant, that can be taken advantage of.

They could buy in a buy offer for about 55,100,000 to make sure they are not undercut. This item will most likely take a while to buy, so some waiting is a must. When the RuneScape item does buy, recheck its predicted margins and sell it for around 56,400,000 Gp.

This method would allow for a substantial profit margin of 1,300,000 Gp for only a few minutes of work!

Checking Margins

Checking margins on your items is one of the most critical aspects of flipping. Checking margins shows how much profit can be made on a single OSRS item by subtracting the buy price from the selling price.

You can do this by going to the Grand Exchange and adding a very high priced offer for the item, then sell the item back to the Grand Exchange for a meager price.

Next, click the history tab in the top left-hand corner of the Grand Exchange interface to see how much the item bought and sold for. The margin number times the amount of the OldSchool RuneScape item you flip will give a reasonable estimation of your predicted profits. But you have to even this out with your GP invested.

Dividing your Gp profit by your Gp Invested will give you a value that shows how much Gp you are expected to make per Gp invested. The higher this value is, the better. This value must be paid close attention as it shows what items should and should not be invested in.
