This year’s Winter Summit was jam-packed with reveals, from expanding existing skills, continuing the Mahjarrat storyline, to the possibility of a whole new skill. If you’ve not already caught up, make sure to check out the Summit Summary blog!
One of the announcements that garnered a lot of discussion from you was the idea of ‘Official Account Builds’. To put things very simply, Official Account Builds was pitched as a way to allow players to block XP gain in certain skills so when playing on their restricted accounts, much like Iron and Hardcore Iron can now, they’d be able to experience the game through a different lens in an official capacity.
There’s more information in the summary blog, so be sure to check that out. Today though, we’d like to address some of the main points we’ve seen you raise, ahead of the poll going live on December 20th!
10 Hitpoints
One of the officially recognised builds we were offering support for were so-called ’10 HP Pures’. As the name suggests, these are accounts that limit themselves to 10 HP, but still seek to level up their other combat stats in unique and interesting ways.
These ‘unique and interesting’ training methods have been a topic of much discussion, since the existing 10 HP community have spent years painstakingly theorycrafting and perfecting niche methods to level up some seriously impressive trophy accounts.
While our initial proposal aimed to open up more of the game and give a wider appreciation (and hopefully encourage wider participation) towards restricted builds, members of the 10 HP community and wider community alike pointed out that our proposal would effectively reduce the unique progression of these accounts to whacking Sand Crabs and eating a little more often.
In addition to this, we’ve seen concerns that massively improving the ease of creating such accounts could have knock-on effects in PvP scenarios, especially at lower combat brackets. Where currently the only way to make a ‘reliable’ 10 HP Pure for PvP is to make an Iron, gated behind thousands of hours of progress, our proposal would knock this number down into the hundreds and could prove damaging to PvP at lower levels – something we’re especially cautious of with Bounty Hunter on the horizon.
10 HP Pures operate in an unusual capacity, since other limited builds (e.g. 1 Defence Pures) are still largely able to train combat through conventional means by levelling Attack, Strength, Ranged and Magic, and not worrying about excess Hitpoints gains. Conversely, 10 HP Pures aren’t able to participate in combat the same way (excluding Dwarf multicannon usage), since almost all combat provides Hitpoints experience.
It’s difficult for us to disagree with these reasons, and as such, we’ve made changes to the system before it goes live for polling next week. We’ve decided that for now, we won’t be offering restrictions for Hitpoints with Official Account Builds. This doesn’t mean that we can’t revisit Hitpoints restrictions in the future, but if we do then we’d like to ensure its with existing builds and training methods in mind.
Another official build we spoke of was Level 3 Skillers, also known as Skiller Pures. With Official Account Builds, Skillers cannot gain ANY combat experience. As they would still be locked to 10 Hitpoints and unable to progress in any combat related skills, we’ve decided to keep them in the system.
Note: We’ve seen a few suggestions that could help keep 10HP Pures in the system, such as disabling actions that would grant XP in a restricted skill, or preventing any damage dealt (i.e. always hitting 0) if you would be gaining experience in a restricted skill. We looked into both of these options and ultimately concluded that being able to execute on either would require such a significant amount of development time we wouldn’t feasibly be able to release the content within the first half of 2023. Instead, we opted to remove the option entirely in favour of builds players were excited to see support for, and we’ll look to revisit Hitpoint restrictions in the future as as separately polled option.
Additional Clarifications
Feedback on Hitpoints aside, we saw a handful of other questions and topics that we’d like to spend some time clarifying.
First of all, let’s talk development time and game modes! We’d like to reiterate that Official Account Builds are not new game modes. They’re more ‘mode modifiers’, or exactly what they say on the tin: builds. If you already have an account that fits within one of the restrictions, you’d be able to opt in to the restriction, regardless of whether you’re a Main, Iron, Ultimate iron etc.
On the development side of things, the current pitch is relatively simple and easy to expand on when the core system is in place – similar to Quest Speedrunning, we can simply plug in additional restrictions as we are able to add new quests. This means we wouldn’t need much dev time to spin up something like restrictions to non-combat skills in the future.
We also saw a handful of concerns around 1 Defence Pures gaining access to gear or spellbooks that would offer huge spikes in power. In case it wasn’t clear before, restricted builds will not be able to complete quests or equip gear that they lack the requirements for. This means a 1 Defence pure couldn’t complete Lunar Diplomacy because it has a hard requirement of 40 Defence. Similarly, they wouldn’t be able to equip Barrows Gloves as they require 41 Defence to do so.
They could however gain access to Fairy Rings or Darkmeyer, as none of the pre-requisites for these have a hard Defence requirement. There are other items that might fall outside of these restrictions – such as the Heavy Ballista – that we’d be more than happy to poll as part of the Community Consultation process to address concerns around balancing, especially with respect to PvP.
Finally, we wanted to dig a little deeper into the idea of ‘Prestige’ and HiScores.
‘Prestige’ on a restricted account is a status granted to accounts which have never gained a level’s worth of XP in a skill they are locked out of. Meaning if you’re a Skiller but complete Fremennik Trials and would have received several thousand combat experience, you would lose your Prestige status, while an account that’s never gained or ‘blocked’ more than 82 XP in any combat skill would remain a Prestige account.
Prestige and non-Prestige accounts would share the same HiScores, meaning Skillers who complete Priest in Peril would share the leaderboards with Skillers who’ve never even heard of combat XP. Currently, there are technical limitations that prevent us from separating accounts in this way, but we also feel like the number of HiScore tables needed to accommodate Prestige/non-Prestige variants for each different game mode would lead to an undesirable amount of ‘bloat’ when trying to browse who’s at the top of the ladders.
Even on shared HiScores pages though, you’ll be able to tell a Prestige and non-Prestige account apart, and there’s nothing to say we won’t be able to offer more advanced ‘filtering’ options in future to help you keep track of the direct competition! Similarly, for any ‘Official’ builds (currently Skillers and 1 Defence pures), we’ll be able to offer separate and distinct chat icons for Prestige and non-Prestige accounts. This means you’ll be able to flex your Prestige (Prestige Level 3 Skiller btw) or poke fun at non-Prestige builds who might reveal themselves at Wintertodt or the Fishing Trawler… just keep it friendly!
We hope this clears up some of the questions you’ve been asking following the Summit, and provides you the information you needed to know ahead of the polls going live on December 20th. In the meantime, make sure to familiarise yourself with the rest of this year’s Winter Summit by checking out the Summary Blog here.
• Adjust your gear accordingly to have your strength bonus match the max hit thresholds.
• There is no food in the inventory as you will be using redemption to heal.
• Using trident is not recommended as it is more costly and less DPS than a whip in most cases when factoring in DPS lost due to ice barrage and the the absence of thralls, death charge and special attacks.
• Scythe is about 1.5 more DPS compared to blade.
• A Dragon Dagger is a viable special attack weapon if you do not have Dragon claws.
Advice/Tips:
• Highly recommended to step under the boss every hit or use red x so that you can trade hits 1:1 with the boss.

Notes:
• The Guthix Rest is used for Tick Eats or no Tick lost healing, substitute for Saradomin Brew if you do not have.
• Blood Fury does not decrease the max hits of Scythe in Max Strength Bonus, replace Amulet of Torture with it if needed.
Advice/Info
• Defense Reduction Needed: Maiden: 1 DWH and 140 BGS | 2 DWH and 98 BGS | 3 DWH and 69 BGS. Xarpus: 1 DWH and 140 BGS | 2 DWH and 98 BGS | 3 DWH and 69 BGS.
• If you have Max Strength Bonus, you should have Scythe on accurate for phase 1, phase 2 Verzik, and Sotetseg if no hammers land.
• For the Nylo boss, teams should split DD into two tiles. When it is Mage phase, both stacks should move 1 tile towards the center, and move back to their respective DD tiles after Mage phase, prioritize switching Overhead Prayer before moving.
Ironman Solo CM Cox Guide – Chambers Of Xeric – Challenge Mode – OSRS
Setup 1
Consistent No Prep Lunars – Astral, Death, Earth (Vengeance)
Setup 2
Speed run Normal – Wrath, Smoke, Cosmic (Fire Surge)
Notes:
• This setup assumes skeleton task for inventory space.
• With max cape stamina boost you can swap one stamina potion for shaman task + salve or Pegasian boots.
• If you do not have Smoke Runes, you can use dust runes instead and equip Tome of Fire when trying to use Thralls.
• You can use Vengeance at the lunar altar and then switch back to regular spell book (Avoid teleporting to POH), saving the Vengeance for when you have a good first anvil Tekton or for Ice Demon.
• It is not recommend doing solo cm if you do not have at least a bowfa.
• Arclight is for Ice Demon, it is slightly better than bowfa, but worse than a Twisted Bow.
Advice/Info:
• Weapons for Tekton: Inquisitor’s Mace > Bludgeon with Inquisitor > Scythe with Inquisitor > Elder Maul > Bludgeon no Inquisitor.
• If you are on lunars, use the Spellbook Swap spell at the bank to cast vulnerability on tekton.
• When on lunars, instead of taking vulnerability runes, you can take a hard food and 3 dose brew to take more vengeance at tekton, and heal up after for overload.
• If prepping and you do not care about points, when doing the tightrope room, you can kill rangers and then skip magers.
• If prepping you can take Trident of the Swamp instead of Sanguinesti Staff and swap Ancestral Hat for your Mage offhand.
Your balance of Staminas, Brews, and Restores will vary based in your gear/levels/skill.

Slayer in OSRS is a skill that allows players to kill a variety of different monsters that can be found throughout Gielinor. To get started, players must visit a Slayer master, who will assign them a task to kill certain monsters based on the player’s Combat level.
Slayer experience is roughly equal to a slain monster’s Hitpoints and is awarded each time the player kills an assigned monster.
Completing Slayer tasks is one of the main ways of passively training combat, as Combat experience is still given as normal while fighting Slayer monsters. Slayer is a very profitable skill to train and can make you a lot of OSRS gold, as high-leveled Slayer monsters, such as Slayer bosses have a multitude of both rare and valuable drops.
Introduction To OSRS Slayer Skill Training And What To Expect
To get a Slayer task, players must visit one of nine Slayer masters throughout RuneScape. All but two Slayer masters have a Combat level requirement, and the ultimate Slayer master moreover also requires a Slayer level requirement.
The assignments are for the most part suitable for the Combat level of the player, assuming that the player is using the highest slayer master accessible. Players may be assigned normal monsters to kill, or they may be assigned monsters that require the use of Slayer-specific items to deal damage or Slayer-specific armour to prevent stat reduction.
The Slayer equipment necessary to kill slayer monsters can be obtained from any slayer master. Once you get your task, you’ll be able to ask the master for advice on killing the assigned monsters, and they will tell you if special equipment is required. If no special equipment is necessary, they will give you other tips or advice such as if the monster is weak to poison or Magic.
To assist you throughout your Slayer journey, players can purchase or create different equipment or items such as monsters specific equipment (example: Nose Peg), the Slayer Helm, the Enchanted Gem, Bracelet of Slaughter, etc.
These items will be pointed out in detail throughout the guide, so we encourage you to read on!
Recommended Equipment and Items For Your Slayer Journey
As we’ve mentioned in the previous section, some slayer masters will assign you monsters that require specific pieces of gear equipped to defeat them. These OSRS items can be easily purchased through the Slayer Masters’ Shop.
The above items that you see in the shop, can also be used to make the Slayer Helmet, however since this also requires further requirements – this will be discussed further throughout this OSRS Slayer guide.
Players can also purchase or create Expeditious and slaughter bracelets to help them out with their current slayer tasks. The Expeditious Bracelets will overall shorten the number of monsters in your task by 25%, with 30 charges per bracelet, while the Bracelets of Slaughter will increase the length of your task.
These are fantastic for several reasons. Being able to shorten your task lets you do tasks that are not worth blocking or skipping, but are still decent XP.
The last thing we’d like to mention before proceeding to the next section is the importance of the Dwarf Multicannon.
The Dwarf Multicannon will help speed up slayer tasks by a lot, and when we say a lot, we mean it! Asides from being helping you out with rushing through tasks, it also provides you with passive ranged experience.
Did you know that if you cannoned as many tasks as possible going from 1 – 99 Slayer, you would get around 90 – 95 Ranged.
Check out our OSRS Ranged Training Guide if you need help leveling your Ranged skill.
Slayer Masters, Slayer Points, Pro and Cons!
There are currently 9 Slayer Masters available on Old School Runescape, some that have specific requirements as well as special mechanics they work with.
Two of them have no Slayer, or Combat level requirements, while the rest gradually move their way up in Combat requirements. Each Slayer Master has its own benefits and reasons for choosing to get tasks from them. These are the most important things you need to know about the masters.

What are Slayer Points?
After finishing 5 Slayer tasks in a row, one will start to receive Slayer Points after completing a Slayer Task. The amount of points you get varies according to the following criteria:
The Slayer Master that assigned you the task
Your Slayer Task Streak Multiplier
Each Slayer Master awards a different number of BASE Slayer Points per Task, and the reason why we are using the word BASE is that every 10th, 50th, 100th, slayer task, you will be awarded the Base points of the last Slayer Master used multiplied by a multiplier.
The following table shows the Base Slayer points according to each Slayer Master with upgrades were available.

Slayer Point Rewards
With the points, by right-clicking any master, you can view the rewards, and there is a variety of things you can buy.
They fall into 5 categories:
Task extensions
Task unlocks
Item unlocks
Buying items
Task management
Task extension is pretty self-explanatory. You can make some tasks longer in exchange for Slayer Points.
Task Unlocks allow Slayer Masters to assign tasks they could not normally assign.
You can unlock items like the Slayer Ring, Slayer Helmet, and its recolours as well.
Task management includes blocking and skipping your Slayer Tasks without penalty to your overall task count.
PRO TIP: Recommended Unlocks using your Slayer Points
Unlocking the ability to create the Slayer Helm should be your number 1 priority.
The Slayer Helm is a piece of headgear made by combining various pieces of slayer equipment. The helmet can be created by players with level 55 Crafting (boosts work) and who have unlocked the “Malevolent masquerade” ability for 400 slayer reward points.
It requires 10 Defence to equip. Despite the helmet requiring a nose peg, which requires 60 Slayer to equip, the slayer helmet requires no particular Slayer level to wear.
While worn, the helmet provides the special effects of all of the Slayer equipment from which it was made from.
When worn on a Slayer assignment, the helmet provides the Melee boost of 16.67% (from the black mask used to make it) against monsters assigned as the player’s slayer task.
Enough with the chit-chat, let’s get onwards with the actual level 1-99 recommended Slayer Guide for OSRS.
OSRS Slayer Guide From Level 1 To 99
Disclaimer: This Section assumes that you are somewhere in your ~100 Combat and therefore will assume that you are only after Slayer Levels and not grinding Combat and Slayer from Scratch.
Before you start slaying as a beginner, Probemas recommends that you should have at least 40 Combat. A Black mask and a Cannon will really speed up your Slayer tasks
Unlike all the other skills that one can train in Old School Runescape, Slayer does not operate in a way where the higher the level, the better the experience.
Slayer’s experience per hour is built around these three following criteria:
The Player’s Combat Levels and Unlocked Content (Ancient Magics, Dwarf Cannon, etc.)
The Player’s Equipment available
The Slayer Master used in conjunction with the Skips & Block Tasks applied
Additionally, one will also need to consider that the faster you travel around Old School Runescape, meaning the faster you reach your desired slayer task location and Slayer Master, the better your experience per hour will get.
Check out our OSRS Agility Guide on how you can improve this useful OSRS skill.
Looting also factors into experience per hour, as some slayer monsters assigned will not only drop items that can be alched to not take up your inventory space, but some item’s values should not be alched and will thus require additional banking trips, that will end up costing time, thus dropping your experience per hour rate significantly.
Probemas’ Words of Advice: Want to upgrade your equipment? Perhaps a Ghrazi Rapier to make your combat way faster? Head to our OSRS Items Shop, place your order, and we will send it to you ASAP.
Fastest Way To Level 99 Slayer
So technically speaking, there is no “real” 1-99 Slayer that one has to follow to get it done faster, but there are certain things that can be done to boost your experience per hour, thus resulting in a faster level 1 to 99 accomplishment, and that is what we’ll be discussing in this section.
The fastest possible experience for Slayer can be done through Bursting and extending these burstable Slayer tasks by using a Bracelet of Slaughter to make the best XP tasks extremely long.
Combining that with an Expeditious Bracelet and a cannon on tasks that do not have great XP rates, and then skipping the absolute slowest tasks, regardless of how profitable they are, is the best way to get Slayer XP.
Keep in mind that Duradel also gives you the longest Slayer tasks in the game, thus technically making him the best master to use for the fastest Slayer experience. What this means is that until you achieve level 50 Slayer (to unlock Duradel) do not expect to get crazy experience per hour, but once you do get that level 50 Slayer, make sure to switch over to Duradel if fast Slayer experience is what you are after.
What if I’m not after fast experience but am after potentially doubling my bank?
OSRS Slayer Money Making Guide
Before we begin, we would like you to know that making money from slayer and getting fast experience DO NOT go together. What this means is that to make the best profit out of slayer, there are a few rules to follow:
NO Bursting.
DO NOT use the Dwarf Multi Cannon.
SKIPPING non-profit tasks is important.
Always do your Clue Scrolls.
Bossing Tasks are always a priority.
The best Slayer Masters for money are Konar, Nieve, and Duradel, and more skilled players can make a lot of money from the Wilderness Slayer Master.
Slayer tasks from Konar have a chance of dropping Brimstone Keys, which are used to open the chest near Konar. Inside the chest, you can get up to and over 500,000 OSRS GP in loot.
also recommends that you focus on completing the following quests as they unlock some very big money-making tasks:
Monkey Madness 2 –> Unlocks Demonic Gorillas that can be killed as a variant of Black Demons (Zenyte Jewellery)
Dragon Slayer 2 –> Unlocks Rune Dragons
Best Slayer Tasks For Making OSRS Gold
Tasks that make bank are things like Brutal Black Dragons instead of Black Dragons, doing Kurasks, Green Dragons, Ice Trolls, Aberrant Spectres, Wyverns, Gargoyles, and all of the high-level Slayer monsters.
You should do Boss Tasks, which are unlockable at Slayer Masters, and you should try to go out of your way to do harder variants. There are quite a lot of bosses that you can do on a standard Slayer Task.
Final Thoughts
Slayer is a very interesting skill that not only can attract players due to the ability to make serious amounts of OSRS gold, but it also enables the player to learn more about the game, become better at certain mechanics such as prayer-flicking / stalling while also passively training Combat in a fun, constantly changing environment.
One has to also accept the fact that Slayer can also be very long because some tasks take longer to finish. That is why we recommend that Slayer should be looked at as a long-term goal rather than being focused like one would do with other skills such as Crafting, Cooking, etc.
Another thing to keep in mind is that Slayer although it is known for being a good money maker, requires a decent amount of gold to allow you to make use of the best methods and equipment when dealing with high-leveled monsters, especially boss tasks – so make sure you have plenty of gold which you can easily do by heading to the
If you ever find yourself too exhausted to continue, or need some assistance with a tedious task that you do not want to be skipped, you can always reach out to one of PROBEMAS’ Elite Boosters by

Zeah is a 718 RSPS that has OSRS Content. With that being said, you can expect the best of both worlds. It has content ranging from before the Evolution of Combat all the way to the latest OSRS implementations. In addition, Zeah also has a unique take on new content, and have implemented their own task system which goes hand-in-hand with relics that empower your game. Playing Zeah is a unique experience as you take advantage of new content on your road to becoming maxed, finishing all collection logs, or besting players in PvP.
Notable Features
There are a lot of notable features on this server. From PvP Tournaments to Chambers of Xeric and Queen Black Dragon with both OSRS and Pre-EoC graphics alongside a relic and achievement system to help you in your journey. Phew, all that in just one sentence. That in itself says a lot, doesn’t it? To be honest, there is too much to say. You have skilling and combat pets, an in-depth Wikipedia managed by the community and staff, treasure trails, collection logs, and so, so much more. Our recommendation? Try the game. But if you’re not fully hooked yet, let’s give you a detailed look at each area.
Player vs Monster (PvM)
When it comes to PvM, Zeah has a lot to offer. There are a lot of bosses, with each one having their own benefit. Moreover, their bosses have a lot of variety from low-tiers, all the way to the end game. Their completion log is also an excellent addition to their overwhelming number of challenges, which allows you to track your kill count, fastest time, and retrieved drops. Nex, Chambers of Xeric, Zulrah, Vorkath, Dusk & Dawn, The Nightmare, you name it; They’ve got it all!

PROS
CONS
Identical mechanics and balanced drops
None
Skilling and Combat Bosses
High variety in low to end game bosses
Skilling
Skilling has both ups and downs. While you can train all skills on Zeah, there is room for improvement. Some skills, such as Agility, Runecrafting, and others are limited in content and thereby forcing you to do e.g. Wilderness Agility Course from level 52 all the way to 85. Other skills, such as Hunter are overflowing with content where you can catch literally almost everything. Imps, Jadinkos, Birds, Grenwalls, Chinchompas, Kebbits… The list goes on and on. With that being said, taking skills to 99 can be a very painful or joyful process depending on which skill you are going for.
↑ Image 2: Multiple skilling areas, also including some RuneLite plugins for skilling.
PROS
CONS
25 Skills, all trainable
Very few methods for certain skills
Player vs Player (PvP or Pking)
In terms of PvP, it would not be a server we would recommend. First and foremost, there are not enough players to always have someone to fight against. While they do have PvP tournaments every now and then, it isn’t often enough to satisfy your bloodlust. Secondly, by having a very wide array of items from OSRS and Pre-EoC, combat can feel very one-sided as one type of weapon completely overpowers another. Finally, there are not a lot of incentives to visit the Wilderness. Revenants and bosses do not grant good enough rewards for players to visit them. The only time you would find people in Wilderness would be for activities such as the Chaos Altar, but even then it becomes more of a cat-mouse chase rather than an exciting battle.

PROS
CONS
PvP Tournaments
Low Wilderness Incentives
Hard to get into PvP (Requires level up)
Negative attitudes towards PKers
Minigames
Minigames are one of the weaker areas of Zeah. While there most certainly are interesting activities to participate in, such as Pest Control, Barrows, and Warriors Guild, most of them are outdated and are used to obtain untradable equipment such as Void and defenders. There are a few highlights such as Dominion Tower and the Inferno, which do add a bit of spice to the combat aspect of the game. However, more team and skill-oriented minigames exist in lower numbers, such as e.g. Stealing creation and Sorceress’s Garden.

PROS
CONS
Good amount of minigames
No up-to-date minigames
Both Combat & Skill minigames
Low amount of players
Player activity
Despite the content that Zeah holds, it sadly does not have a lot of players. It holds between 20 to 40 players on weekdays and between 50 to 70 on weekends. However, keep in mind that the server is fairly new, with its release being the 1st of March in 2022. Therefore, it might still rise up during the year.
PROS
CONS
None
Can be difficult to find groups
for team-based activities
Other content
What makes Zeah stand out is the new content that they have to offer. There is a very unique task system where players can complete easy to grandmaster tasks in order to gain achievement points and relic unlocks. Achievement points can be used to create new items or to purchase golden relics, whilst relic unlocks serve the purpose of permanently unlocking silver relics. These relics will assist you by granting bonus experience and giving various benefits to skills, combat and other content such as luck. This is only one of the many features that Zeah has to offer.

PROS
CONS

Many unique HQ interfaces
Conclusion (3.6 on average)
Playing Zeah gives you nostalgia from both OSRS Content and Pre-Eoc Content while also leaving you curious about what the new and unique gameplay it has to offer. With multiple modes, a magnitude of bosses alongside 25 fully trainable skills you will find yourself hooked right from the start. Try out seven different modes, from a masters account with reduced experience rates to hardcore group ironman where you can play with your life on the line alongside four other friends.
